Harsh layers of feedback give way to a gorgeous and foreboding build-up, finally lashing you with a wall of noise drenched black metal. Truly an excellent listening experience. Hungary's Oaken drop 2 long tracks of heavy and dark hardcore, influenced as much by His Hero is Gone style bludgeoning as more modern epic post-metal. The mood goes from grinding/beating hardcore to more atmospheric parts complete with haunting singing.
